Lactation Now in Progress |
Summer 2012:
Beautiful Harmony scored as Excellent on her linear appraisal this year.
But once again she only had buck kids. We'll try again for a doeling
from her next year.
Summer 2011:
Harmony continues to delight us. She is an easy-going, productive,
beautiful doe. She kidded this year with triplet bucks even though I
had asked her for a daughter. Well, we'll try again next year.
Summer 2010:
We had an amazingly tough Linear Appraisal session this year. The
appraiser was cranky and overworked. While our goats still scored
nicely, only Harmony and her half sister,
Miranda, scored as First Time
Excellent. We are proud of both of these young girls. Harmony -
we knew you would do it!
Harmony now has a son that has qualified for ADGA's Sire Development
Program!
Summer 2009:
It was love at first sight when Harmony was born and it continues to be
love at every sight. She is a gorgeous, productive girl and lovely to
look at whether she's in the milking parlor or out on the range.
July 2008 update:
Harmony didn't let us down! Originally we
weren't supposed to keep her but she charmed us with her great attitude
and good looks. Now she is a beautiful young lady and a productive
milker. She will easily earn her milking star this year and she
was our highest scoring yearling on Linear Appraisal (LA). Her
maternal half-sister, Sesame, scored as Excellent on her LA this year so it will be fun to see if
Harmony can do that too. I suspect she will.
July 2007 update:
Do you believe in love
at first sight? Well, sometimes it happens. We weren’t supposed to keep
a doeling born this late in the year, but how could we resist? Harmony is
a delightful girl, with great conformation, wonderful genetics, and a
sweet, calm attitude. What’s not to love?
